USB 3.2 Gen2 vs. Our USB 3.1 5m Cable

We carry two different 5-meter link cables: this one uses USB 3.2 Gen2 wiring for up to 10Gbps of data throughput and 60W charging, while our other 5m cable uses USB 3.1 Gen1 (5Gbps) with a built-in signal amplifier. Both work at 5 meters — this one favors raw transfer speed and charging wattage; the amplified USB 3.1 version favors signal stability on very long runs. Pick based on whether top data speed or amplified stability matters more for your setup.

How is this different from your other 5m link cable?
This one runs full USB 3.2 Gen2 (10Gbps, 60W) with no amplifier; our other 5m cable is USB 3.1 Gen1 (5Gbps) with a built-in amplifier for extra signal stability at length. Both are genuinely usable at 5m — the choice is speed vs. amplified stability.

Does this work with Quest 3?
The USB-C connector and speeds are compatible with Quest 3, though it's tested and marketed primarily for Quest 1/2 link use.

Can it transfer data between two laptops?
No — this cable is designed for host-to-device charging and data transfer (e.g. PC to headset, SSD to PC), not laptop-to-laptop transfer, and it does not carry video output.
