Is this the same as the Google Cardboard-branded model in your store?
It's built to the same open Cardboard standard and app library, in our own durable shell rather than the folding-cardboard original.
Do I need to remove my phone case?
Most slim cases fit fine in the phone tray; bulky or battery cases may need to come off for a secure fit.
Does this include a warranty?
Yes — standard Metanexus XR coverage applies; see our Warranty and Refund policy pages for full terms.
Shipping
- Orders are prepared and shipped within 1–3 business days.
- Delivery typically takes 4–8 business days in total, worldwide, with tracking sent by email.
- Free shipping on orders over €190.
- Commercial VR (arcade and venue equipment) ships by freight, quoted per destination.
Returns
- Return any product within 14 days of delivery, for any reason, defective or not.
- Items must be unused, in the original packaging and with all accessories.
- Keep your order number or invoice as proof of purchase.

2-year limited warranty
- All AR/VR headsets and original accessories bought on MetaNexus XR are covered for 2 years from delivery (1 year for refurbished items), in line with Spain's consumer law (RDL 1/2007, LGDCU).
- If a covered defect is confirmed, we repair the product at no cost.
- To claim, email metanexusxr@gmail.com with your order number, the serial number (if any) and photos or video of the fault.
- Cosmetic wear, misuse and missing components are not covered.
