Quest 2 Shockproof Case – EVA & Oxford Cloth

This Quest 2 Oxford-cloth case pairs a rigid shockproof EVA core with an Oxford-cloth fabric exterior, instead of leaving the EVA shell bare. The result is the same impact resistance as our plain EVA cases, with a woven textile surface that resists scuffs and shows wear less than smooth EVA.

Two materials, one shell

Underneath the fabric is the same dense EVA foam that gives our hard cases their crush resistance; the Oxford-cloth layer is the outermost surface you actually touch and see.

Why wrap EVA in fabric

Bare EVA can show scuff marks after repeated handling. A woven Oxford-cloth exterior hides light wear better and gives a more textile, less "plastic case" look and feel.

Is the protection different from the plain EVA cases? No - same EVA core; the difference is the fabric-covered exterior instead of bare EVA.

Does the fabric peel or fray over time? It's bonded to the shell as a permanent covering, not a removable sleeve.

Is it the same as the rainproof case? No - the rainproof EVA case is sealed against water; this Oxford-cloth exterior is not specifically weatherproofed.
